Workshop: Owning Your Power Workshop For Kids- Mother/Child Edition

Owning Your Power Workshop for Kids- Mother/Child Edition

Just like kids, moms often do not believe they have what it takes. They doubt themselves and compare themselves to others. (Darn you, social media!)

Both moms and their kids are often hesitant to talk about, write about, or even think about their positive qualities and achievements because they don't think there is anything special about themselves, they think it's weird thinking about themselves in that way, or they think doing so amounts to bragging.

Based on the guided journal, What's Your Super Power?, in this workshop, participants will learn to:

          * Identify their positive personal attributes
          * Identify their achievements
          * Articulate why they have value

Each interactive session includes discussion and 2-3 activities such as journaling, making a craft/art project, or games.

In this special Mother/Child Edition there will be a bonding activity designed to help both mom and their child feel more empowered.
