I really enjoy classroom Valentine’s Day cards. They are filled with positive messages of friendship, gratitude, and support. Even though it can feel a bit overwhelming for parents to manage the process of filling out 10, 20, or 30 cards, I like that kids typically give one to every single kid in their classes. No one is left out.
My line of Valentine’s Day cards for kids is based on the illustrations and themes from my guided journals. So, of course I have a couple of superhero themed cards based on What’s Your Super Power? and What Makes You So Awesome? This year I also added a design called, “Choose Kind,” that is based on artwork from my most recent guided journal, Why Is Different Awesome? Each of the 9 designs in my 2019 collection is available in multiple versions. Your child will have fun picking out the version that best reflects his or her features.
For the past 10+ years that I have offered school Valentine’s Day cards I have gone back and forth as to whether or not to offer envelopes. Some teachers are adamant about no envelopes, while others do not care. Some parents prefer envelopes, while others do not. This year I leave the choice up to you-- they are offered separately.
School Valentine's Day Cards! Yep, It's That Time Already!!
